Finding Inspiration at Every Turn

A bit about us: We purchased this 120-acre property from Garth’s grandparents way back in 1992, shortly after starting our careers in education. Since Garth grew up next door and spent lots of time on this property, it has always been a special place to come back to. Over the years, we bought the adjacent little farmyard (it was Garth’s grandparents’) and developed the gravel pit and surrounding land by planting trees and tall-grass prairie, and building the cabin, docks, etc. It became our “get away” and a great place to spend our summer months with our kids. After retirement, we moved into the cottage and started an Airbnb in our guest cabin, with the intent of building a house on the lake in the near future. In the meantime, we thought we’d like to give others the opportunity to enjoy our “little slice of paradise”. We hope you enjoy your stay.
